Caffe Vita – Seattle, WA

Sitting here watching the rain in Seattle at one of the best coffee shops I’ve ever been to, Caffe Vita in Queen Anne. The best thing about this place are the people. From the people that work here, with their amazing personality to their friendliness; to the people that come in regularly. This coffee shop is so “neighborhood friendly” that they’ll not only let you come in with your dog, but they even have treats behind the counter for them. Almost every dog that came in knew about this and so they would come rushing to the little crack between counters to get a treat.

I’m doing some work here and I’ve sat at this coffee shop for almost a week straight, for about 7hrs a day and I can honestly say this place ROCKS!!

And of course besides the best customer service and the great neighborhood they have some amazing coffee, I mean these guys know the art of coffee like no other and have master some great unique techniques.

Anyways, I have a few projects brewing right now. Look for them in the next coming days 😉

I don’t know about you, but by doing this I get my ideas going, and after a few hours I already have a plan in mind and on my way to make it happen.

But last week I ran into, what I call, “photographers block”. I didn’t have any portraits scheduled for that weekend and the weather called for 80% rain.

My creativity was on E.

Eat that frog!

So, you know that little (or big) task that you keep putting in the back burner? The one that you know you have to get done. The one that every morning when you wake up and are sipping on your coffee looking out the window, going over your mental to-do list, it jumps at you but you quickly find something of “higher priority” to ignore it and put it off for later. Yeah? Well this has been one of mine. And for a very long time now.

For me it’s not always the tasks that are hard to do, or the ones that take up a lot of time. It’s the ones that require more than that. For example, a couple of days ago
